fuelfinder.jpgAs gas prices continue to soar with the arrival of summer, finding cheap gas is going to get harder and harder. Driving around is basically counter-productive. So before you drive around the block hoping to find a cheaper price, try looking up for affordable fuel on your mobile phone.

FreeMobileFuelFinder.com can help you save money during your next fill-up. This national service is now available free for the entire U.S. driving public. Consumers register online, and then call a toll free number from their mobile phone to receive a text message with the cheapest gas prices in their area.

This is really amazing. You guys are promoting or at least giving a mention of this service on your blog and this website does not have any information on what they are, where they are etc. Just partners logo which anyone can copy from internet. Come on…ask for some credibility before you post.

The FreeMobileFuelFinder website lists a ‘terms of use’ which clearly states that
the service is provided by NumberLink.

NumberLink created and launched the Mobile Fuel Finder service with AAA on April 27, 2007. AAA members can now save money each and every time they fill-up at the pump! AAA has about 50 million members in the U.S.

NumberLink has now launched http://FreeMobileFuelFinder.com to make this free service available to the rest of the driving public in the U.S., possibly an additional 100 million non-AAA drivers.

interesting, i think this is a scam. They do not share at all how they get the info. Given that i work in the oil industry…i would be curious to know.

AAA (Automobile Club of America) members are currently using this service provided by NumberLink. You may want to re-read comment #2. Its free to register at FreeMobileFuelFinder.com, and free to use the service. The service is ad sponsored.

AAA Mid-Atlantic, a club of 4 million members, offers a branded version of Numberlink’s Mobile Fuel Finder. The service works with all of the carriers shown on Tony’s site. The technology is a mobile extension of our online fuel finder that is powered by OPIS. Adam Hardt, GPS/Wireless Product Manager, AAA Mid-Atlantic
