GSM HTC Touch Pro hits FCC

Posted by Greg Kumparak

Man, how this phone brings a pang to my heart. It looks so damn pretty; why must it lack 3G?

Oh Well - at least it’s coming to North America, according to this FCC post. No word yet on carrier availability, though its GSM internal mean it’s pretty safe to bet it’ll be either T-Mobile or AT&T.

The FCC post hides most of the goodies for confidentiality reasons, but it does let on that the GSM Touch Pro will be quad-band, with GPRS, EDGE, and WiFi.

Come on, HTC - tuck 3G in there at the last second. The FCC is totally cool with stuff like that, right?
