LG PRADA II specs leaked
by Greg Kumparak on September 5, 2008

Further confirming the existence of a PRADA II, BGR has managed to get their hands on the full tentative specs:

  • Quad-band GSM/EDGE, dual-band HSDPA (850MHz/2100MHz)
  • 950mAh battery
  • 240×400 3.0″ screen
  • 5 megapixel autofocus camera with flash and VGA recording
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • Wi-Fi b,g
  • Infineon MP-EH + M180 chipset
  • Motion sensor
  • FM Radio
  • 104.5 x 54 x 16.8 mm

It’s certainly a powerful handset, but it’ll have some stiff competition (even from within the LG camp) by the time it hits the shelves. We’ll have to wait and see where this one settles on the price-point scale.

What OS?

Further, why not list the phone’s OS every time you list a phone’s specs?

@CJ Millisock:

A lot of the times, these phones use proprietary operating systems that don’t have names beyond whatever they’re referred to internally.

If it’s not listed, it’s because it hasn’t been announced either way; in these cases, the general rule of thumb is to assume it’s proprietary.

If there is nothing new or enticing, I wonder why they are even bothered to launch. There are many like these now a days in the market.
